MEXICAN TRADITION !

Mexican Tradition and Style.

I have started researching about Mexican traditions by looking at music and dance and well-known names which are the most important elements in Mexico.
The most popular music is Ranchero and Mariachi and the most popular dance is Los Valadores.
The Mexican Cholombians talks about different hairstyles and it's one of the most popular hairstyle in Mexico.
Frida Khalo was one of the well known artist in Mexico who was expressing her art and her self by what she was wearing which was a ( folk style ) and still is now a days.
Mexican folk style talks about fabulous colours , wide dresses or skirts, frill, wrinkle and various adornments.
Why does Mexican tradition and folk style is so popular in their country?
Mexican people have a tradition of changing garments , playing musical instruments such as guitars and mandolin. While enjoying their musical tradition they sing songs about their country of origin and also their history , this is called folk style.

By looking at Mexican culture I have created a research which would represent different pictures which reminded me of folk style . I visited variety of shops in different London areas. I looked at different pictures which were eye catchy and would remind me of my subculture. These pictures will represent my idea of the whole research I did so far and will bring a straight forward understanding.

The reason why I have chosen this SubCulture is because I found it very interesting in Latin Culture and especially in Spanish Language . By looking at this tradition it made me very curious of their culture, music and their style. Mexican tradition developed my interest because I found this country fascinating in every way.

Folk style is very fabulous as they have very strong and bright colours : the colours which are dominated are red , pink, orange and blue. Folk style designs contain flowers and different sorts of patterns. Mexican folk style reminds me of my origin country were I come from which is Eastern European. I come from mountains were people wear their traditional clothes too. The style that is worn by Mexicans which is very similar to our folk style . I found this very interesting and amazing how other countries can have this kind of similarity when they are thousands miles away from each other.

Mexican Artist Frida Khalo

Frida Khalo was one of the famous artist in Mexico between 30's and 50's.
I have used her image on my blog because , what Frida does , she used to dress in her Tradition style ( folk) and she was expressing her self in her own way.

Cholombian Hair style.

These are the pictures of 3 Mexicans with their own hair style.

Colour and patterns !

I have taken these photos in the Liberty shop down in Oxford Circus .
The reason why I have taken these photos because I was looking for the colours and patterns design that could realate to my SubCulture. I believe they worked really well together and that these are the good examples for my theme.
